The Age of Rebirth part 3
"My Jarl!" Galmar Stone-Fist, Ulfric's most trusted general, yelled. He raised his battleaxe from his back, with a furious grin on his face. The Dragonborn had attacked Ulfric, his Jarl, his future king!
But this attack was stopped by Ulfric himself.
"Stand down Galmar!" Ulfric yelled as he stepped away from the doorframe, "This is between me and the Dragonborn, a duel with the ancient Nord way!"
Galmar froze in place, and immediately lowered his axe. Delphine and Esbern looked at the scene, hands nervously twitching at their waists.
"Dragonborn, what shall we "
"Leave it!" replied Dragonborn while pushing himself off the ground, "I can handle this. I can handle him. Just let it be, I have to do this alone "
"You are brave Dovahkiin", smirked Ulfric, "But can you back up your words with actions? If you can't they're worthless. You must think so highly of yourself, otherwise you would not have challenged me. But make no mistake, whatever the Greybeards taught you;
Age of Rebirth part 2
The dawn had just arrived when they reached Windhelm, the new capital of Skyrim, home of Jarl Ulfric. The city stood strongly in the wind, as it had for centuries. There couldn't have been a more suitable home for the Stormcloaks, for the city was much like the Nords themselves, strong and cold. Protected by high walls and strong gates, surrounded by the sea, it was practically a fortress.
But inside the wall felt threatening, suffocating. It was a prison. Everything inside was built with stone, and paved with ice and snow. It was a strong city, but without warmth and character. It had been the people that had given a face to Windhelm, but they were hard to notice behind the lines of Stormcloak soldiers that now swarmed the city. The few civilians that managed to catch Delphine's attention were all Nords. She started to worry what had become of the Grey Quarters.
"And why do you need us Dragonborn?" Esbern asked as they rose the steps to the Palace's courtyard.
"To watch by back", the
Age of Rebirth part 1
As always, Skyrim punished its children with another freezing night. Soon the winter would come and even The Reach would be covered with snow. But that didn't worry Delphine. As remote as the Sky Haven Temple was, the surrounding mountains provided strong protection from the icy winds and snowstorms. It was the food stocks that they would have to be careful with.
She had seen some rabbits strolling around the courtyard few days ago, but other than that, it seemed that the animals had started to depart for more secure lands. After the snow had fallen it'd be difficult to find quarry, let alone chase it. The supplies they had stored inside the temple would last couple of months, the winter at least four. They'd have to start stocking up pretty soon. Hopefully their gold would be enough; Markath had started to become an expensive city lately. No doubt the Silver-Bloods should be thanked for that.
But as harsh as the night was, Delphine only had to look up to see the more gentle side of Sk

"Are you sure you're not overdoing it?"
"Just one more lap, then I'll stop."
Shepard wiped some sweat from her forehead and proceeded to walk across the room once again. Her steps were shaky, and her pace agonizingly slow, but at least she was finally walking.
She walked forward carefully, leaning onto the crutches and moving them forward a bit by bit. There could be no rush. Even though Shepard was wearing leg braces, her steps were still heavy and her balance feeble at best. If she would go too fast she'd surely fall on her onto the floor, not a preferable position for her.
She sat onto the bed, panting heavily. That was the twentysixth exercise routine she had done today. It would've been nice to be able to recover in peace, but unfortunately Shepard didn't have that luxury. The memorial service was in just under two weeks, and she sure as hell wouldn't walk in front of the galaxy with crutches under her arms. She would walk with her own feet, even with the braces on if she'd have t

The following day, just as Liara had anticipated, the doctors arrived. Like a group of flies they swarmed around Shepard, reading measurements, giving shots, unplugging and re-plugging all kinds of cords and just making Shepard feel as uncomfortable as possible.
"Is, ouch, is this all really necessary, ouch!" Shepard asked as she was getting her final shots.
"It is", one of the Salarian doctors replied, "The worse has passed, but there is still a lot of recovery left for you Commander. We've already reconstructed your damaged muscle tissue from scratch, healed your broken bones, skull and spine, healed the numerous open wounds all around your body and treated your nervous system from the trauma inflicted on it. We even used some Asari mind melding to ease any psychological trauma the incident might've inflicted on you."
Shepard turned her eyes to Liara sitting at the corner of the room. She had a mischievous expression on her face, which Shepard couldn't quite read. She'd have to ask a

For a long time Shepard felt nothing at all. Or that's what she thought at least; in truth time had already lost its meaning to her. It could've been hours, or entire days, that didn't really seem to matter. So for the time being, she just was, not sure of what was happening around her or where she was. Then, little by little, she became to feel things.
At first there was the overwhelming feeling of comfort. It was over, for real this time. She had finally done it, they were all safe now. No need to worry about anything anymore. And there was no pain anymore either, no fear and no rush. After all that, everything was finally well. That's what she felt, and she spent a long time being lost in that feeling.
Then bigger things started to fill her mind; thoughts and questions. Had she gotten out of the Crucible? Would she be okay? She felt okay at least. She was alive, that was for sure. She had died before, and it hadn't been like this. Close, but not like this.
So where was she? Well, if

"What THE FUCK was that?!"
Shepard opened her eyes. How could someone No she was still alone in the Citadel; the voice came from her headpiece. What's more, she recognized that voice.
"That's the most pathetic fucking thing I've ever heard from you! Don't think you can just leave us after all this, because you can't! Stand up and fucking FIGHT!"
"What happened Shepard, did your quad drop off?"
"I've seen you come back from the void, yet NOW you're willing to give up, after we finally won? That's not the Shepard I knew!"
Shepard moaned, she might've lost her consciousness for a while, but the pain hadn't gone anywhere. She truly needed rest; she needed the pain to go away again. But she couldn't ignore the words of her friends. She never could.
"Shepard, please "
"Please don't leave us, not yet! I don't want to lose you again, not when we could finally We could finally be together!"
The room shook again, making Shepard's pain eve

Shepard jumped out of the way just in time to avoid another shot, which hit the floor behind her, leaving behind a man-size hole. She landed on her side on the floor, feeling the pain sweeping through her entire body. It was getting too intense, she couldn't take much more. Her hands and feet were heavy and aching more and more, and she couldn't move without feeling an excruciating pain in her back. Not to mention, the shots were getting more powerful, had that one hit her, she'd be gone already.
"This weapon is a Reaper design; as effective as a missile launcher, but no larger than an ordinary rifle, just another advantage that their technology has given us", Shepard heard the Illusive Man speak as she crouched behind cover. All around them the Reapers holograms were disappearing, vanishing as the Crucible removed their programs from existence.
"We're this close to defeating the Reapers, you can't ruin this now!" Shepard yelled while she reloaded her gun. Too bad the Reaper

"-Fascinating, you two are pretty photogenic"
I snapped a few more pictures of the two giants in front of me before letting my camera hang loosely around my neck.
"Well thats all I need you two so I will be going now"
The two giants didn't respond to me, though I guess thats because they lack lips, but one of them did reach a clenched hand down until it was right in front of me and when it opened its hand a bunch of apples fell next to my feet in a big pile.
"Are these for me?"
It seemed to give me a nod before walking away with it's friend.
"Thank you! Have a safe travel!"
I waved to them before collecting the apples into my bag and making my way towards a nearby forest with really big trees. It didn't take long for me to get there.
Półmartwi wierzą w cztery światy. Świat żywych, świat martwych, świat wiecznych i świat półmartwych. Każdym z nich rządzi jeden bóg. Światło panuje nad światem wiecznych, czyli półbogów. Życie pełni pieczę nad światem żywych. Każde żywe stworzenie podlega jej opiece. Światem martwych rządzi najmłodsza siostra - Śmierć. Tam trafiają wszystkie dusze bez wyjątku. Światem półmartwych natomiast, najstarszy brat, Mrok. Często jednak między rodzeństwem, dochodzi do kłótni. Czasem nawet wojny, skutkiem czego są załamania czasowe, chaos, a nawet wymieszanie wszystkich światów. Tak stało się kilka tysięcy
First of ManyArcee paused in her rounds, turning to cast her gaze towards the clear sky high above Cybertron. It was still hard to believe that once dark cloud had been lifted, she was almost certain it would never leave. But there is was, literally clear as day, “Oh Optimus... I wonder if you can see this from the Allspark,” she sighs softly.
A glimmer shines from up high followed by a few more, the glimmers seeming to dance in the sky occasionally one would dip low but just as quickly returned to its friends. The new sparks that had erupted from the Well of All sparks, after Optimus Prime sacrificed himself for the greater good, their playful dance in the sky was comforting but also concerning. None of them had formed a protective shell and descended to the surface. Are they afraid? It something still wrong? Knockout had even noted it was close to time for at least one to drop down, the former Decepticon suggesting maybe they were playing chicken for who goes first.
Escalation"If you hadn't, I would have ordered you to come along myself," Fred said with a slight smile on his face.
John couldn't help but smile just a little himself. After having been alone so long, spending so much time not knowing how much of his family was still alive, here stood the three Spartans he'd missed the most. The three people whose presence he'd wished for more than anything in the closing days of the war, and his conflict with the Didact. He would have swiped his fingers across his faceplate, but they were in a crowded hangar and a part of him wanted to keep the gesture strictly between himself and his team. It was, after all, one of the few things that was purely Spartan-II.
"I'm going to check over the engines. This bird was recently rebuilt, and I really don't want to get stranded on a Halo because of shoddy repair work," Linda said. She then turned toward Kelly, "Besides, I don't want to have to jump out of a pelican with failing engines either. From what you told me i

Dean pressed his hand gently against the pocket, cutting off the fairy mid-sentence. He could still feel Warren trembling against him whenever they talked, and the fairy jumped in surprise at the pressure from the hand.
"Don't stress so much. No one will come near me, and since we're looking for a freaking fairy spell book, I'm going to need your help with it." Removing his hand, Dean opened the top of the pocket slightly and peered down at the tiny Fae huddled in a corner. "It can't be all bad, can it?"
"Yeah," Warren muttered. "Held captive by an enormous human, stuffed inside of a pocket and I can't even see the outside world at all. Life's fantastic."
Dean sighed and rubbed his forehead, growing tired of the argument. "I'm not going to button it up this time so you should b

50 days ABG (After Battle of Genosis)
CT-5108 arrived at the blast site. He gazed over the gaping charred crater. Such a sight was fairly rare on Coruscant. White plastoid armor littered the ground... And other organic materials he preferred not to think about.
My brothers, he thought and then pushed it from his mind. It could have been me.
What a short life he'd lived on the battlefield. Being in the business of bomb disposal you got exposed to a lot of carnage. You just never quite get over it.
"Corr!" One of his brothers shouted, "Snap out of it! We have a job to do."
"Just smelling the roses," Corr snappily retorted.
The voice that called out to him was almost identical to his own, yet it wasn't. There were slight deviations in timing and tone that made them each unique. It made them human. Alive, not expendable cannon fodder.
Corr casually walked to the origin point of the blast. It was his job to identify what ki
The Pokemon and Human Center: Zoroark TFIt was the middle of the day. I had a great run with my Pokemon partners. We'd just beaten a gym, and now, we needed to stop by the Pokemon Center. I'm Ryan, and I'm pursuing a great achievement in being the best of the best of all Pokemon Trainers! I had broken my left arm recently. I had it in a white colored casting, but that hasn't held me back! I keep on battling until the end of the day!
I had approached a somewhat special Pokemon Center. It was on the edge of the city. There was a thick woodland area behind it. There were also few houses which surrounded it. There was a slowly decaying sign that said, Welcome to the Pokemon Center! We heal your Pokemon AND YOU!
'Maybe they can help with my arm...?' I thought to myself.
I saw my reflection in the window. Scruffy light-brown hair, green eyes, a normal face, tall for my pre-teen age of thirteen, standing at 5 and a half feet tall. It was bitter out, and getting late. I scurried inside quickly.
"Hello, and would you like to heal you
KOIP: Bonus Track - Lullaby
The air is crisp, a welcome cool breeze skating across his surface as he anxiously awaits her arrival. Above them the sky is clear and the celestial body giving Rannoch life has decided to bless them with comfortable weather. Birds and insects flutter about, watching as though they are invited guests. Kolyat supposes that they won’t be receiving gifts from these event crashers.
The tone of the quartet changes, pulling Kolyat’s attention from Rannoch’s beauty to the loveliness of another. His nerves redouble their forces, trying to give him a heart attack, and he fights to keep himself from fidgeting. After months of planning, calculating, fittings, shopping, arguing, and parties the time has finally come.
His breath is caught in his throat and, beside him, Burnek nudges his elbow as if Kolyat can’t see with his own two eyes. She is the most lovely creature in the entire universe. Her thick dark hair is the longest he has ever seen it, falling just past her sh
